Advent Comic on the way...

As mentioned by subordinator in the comments to the previous post, an Advent Rising comic is on the way.

No real details around at the moment it seems, but this is what one of the authors working on the project, Rob M. Worley had to say:
"Working on 'Advent Rising' has been a great, collaborative learning experience," said Worley. "We're working that book sort of old school Stan and Jack style, so there's a lot of back and forth with me, the layout artist Arthur Dela Cruz, the editors Teresa Focarile and Bill Jemas, the finish artist Cliff Richards. It's really fun because there are so many ideas going around and the whole thing seems really comfortable for everyone.

Will it be any good? I thought the mini-Preview comic was a bit 'meh' with some average dialog... but that was just a promo thing really. Could be very interesting to see what story is done in the new Comics and/or what part of the universe they play with.

Also of note today, Version 1.2 of Berserker's walkthrough is now up!

I have to admit that the game itself was awesome. I agree that there few frustrating errors BUT the story, graphics, music, visuals, voices were all totally awesome. I think Advent is a masterpiece. I just wish it would have sent and made by a better developer like Bungie. (By the way Majesco is a totally cool company/publisher, problem is GLYPHIX- I have no complain about Majesco staff // they are so responsible)

I agree that the game is really good, but I have admit that this is not majesco's fault at all. Even though they have a rough time right now their customer service is still good. You know who's fault it is? mustards. There is no way Majesco would risk the company for a few months (not for Xbox 360 ir anything). Lies must have been told to majesco in development time. Down with both mustards and glyphix (I don't think either of them are gonna find a job in game industry anyway). By the way I heard mustards are going to come back and work on another Advent project ( yeah right! which moron would trust them again and give them such a project, they better go suck lemons)

Sorry! Everybody! I have to say this (cause I am one of stock holders) - I dedicate my middle finger to anyone who is responsible for whatever shit is wrong.

Gee... I tell someone about a comic coming, and a whole battle-'o'-pain breaks loose. Sheesh...

Tim... The Mustard brothers probably have the rights to the game, which means that the series goes with them (at least, that's the notion I got). They are involved whether you like it or not (then again, without them, there would be no series).

Again, I cheer on GlyphX and the Mustard brothers for their first attempts at a game. Not everyone has to applaud, and some may even boo, but I'd stand up for them. :D

Mr. Anon E. Moose, I have to say that I'm sorry about these stocks dropping. However, I truly hope you aren't backing those class-action suits...

I am the same "Anonymous":
What class-action suits are you talking about ??? Got to check them out.

And since I haven't forgotten let me say this: You WHAAAAAAATTT???
"I cheer on GlyphX and the Mustard brothers for their first attempts"
What are you saying? Are you saying this is good that at least they tried? MY ASS. They should try with their own money, investment and time NOT ours. Since those assholes knew they were gonna crew up they should have mind the budget. If I know I am gonna screw up the least I would do is to work with a limited budget. They should have taken smaller steps. I don;t care if the game is good or bad, the fact is that those asshole bums messed around with a huge shit (over 30 million or something). Majesco (according to the income statement) have not even earned enough to cover TV spots. By the way thanks for the tips (on the class-action suits)

You have some good points there.

However, I have to ask: who was pushing the deadline? The game was already delayed once (for good reason), marketing was advertising the date "March 31st", and people were expecting it to come out. Really, there was a combination of factors that made the game come out before it should have; you CANNOT solely blame GlyphX and the Mustard brothers. Majesco had plenty to do with it.

Just because you hold stock in a company doesn't mean it's perfect.

And why didn't they delay again? Because the game would have bombed worse. This isn't Half-Life 2, where everyone could have waited another five years and still have been excited to pick it up. Nobody knew the history of this game, the developers, or even the basic story; if it was delayed, everyone would have forgotten about it; it would have been yesterday's news.

I do not claim the problem of sales being a certain group's fault. I do claim, however, that everyone (GlyphX, the Mustard brothers, AND Majesco) had a part to play in the chaos.

I am so excited. ONLY and ONLY two more days left before we see the edited version of Advent Rising. I can tell you guys that this PC version of AR is totally awesome since it is not going to have the same errors as the last time. Besides (in response to your conversations) I think the real responsible people are the Mustards and the GlyphX since they are after people who lied to us in front of us (on TV). And besides you could always remind people of yesterday's news by TV spots which Majesco had a lot of them for AR.

I don't care about Majesco or GlyphX I do not have any stock. I am just trying to tell people who is really responsible.
